Mamelodi Sundowns Eye One More Major Signing Before Transfer Window Closes!

Mamelodi Sundowns have had a relatively low-key transfer window so far when it comes to new arrivals.

The Brazilians have only brought in Fawaaz Basadien from Stellenbosch FC and Tsiki Ntsabeleng from Major League Soccer (MLS).

However, several players have headed out of Chloorkop, raising the question — Is Mamelodi Sundowns done with their business in the transfer market?

Another Big Signing on the Horizon for the Brazilians

Latest reports suggest that Sundowns may not be finished just yet.

With the transfer window set to close later this month, sources indicate that the reigning champions are still in the market and could complete a significant signing soon.

One high-profile name reportedly on the radar is TS Galaxy central defender Khulumani Ndamane, who is tipped to make the move to Chloorkop to join Miguel Cardoso’s squad.

“Cardoso will be in discussions with sporting director Flemming Berg for new faces to come to Mamelodi Sundowns, to ensure they have enough players to call on in the absence of those who are struggling with injury,” according to a report from Soccer Laduma.

The potential deal was further confirmed by TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi, who revealed last week that Mamelodi Sundowns have expressed interest in Ndamane.

If the deal materialises, it could mark a busy end to the window for the Pretoria-based side.

Should Sundowns Make More Moves?

Do you think Sundowns’ current squad has what it takes to clinch the CAF Champions League title this season? Or should they dip back into the market for more reinforcements?
