Nigerian striker Etiosa Ighodaro has been officially ruled out of the match after picking up an injury during training just two days before the game. The forward, who joined Chiefs from Sundowns, was expected to feature in the blockbuster encounter but will now have to watch from the sidelines.
“Ighodaro was injured in training two days ago,” Kaze confirmed.
Flavio Silva Cleared for Potential Debut
On a more positive note, Portuguese striker Flavio Silva has received his international clearance, making him eligible for selection. This could mark his official debut appearance for Amakhosi, potentially bolstering the attack as the team looks to maintain their 100% start to the season.
